BTS, a South Korean boy band, is commemorating their tenth anniversary. The group holds a unique event called BTS Festa, which is annually held on June 13, to celebrate its debut anniversary with its ARMY. However, BTS vocalist Kim Taehyung had other plans and flooded his Instagram story with OT7 videos. They range from dance practices to just casual goofing around with the members.
He put a few words across each video, "It’s already our 10-year anniversary since we debuted. To our members, thank you for being healthy and making good memories together for 10 years. ARMY, thank you so much. Thanks to you, we gain strength and do [what we do]. In the future, please continue to take care of your health and have only happy days. That’s all we hope/wish for. I purple you. ApoBangpo. There are so many videos, so I’ll release them again on our 20th anniversary. Bye".
ARMY surely downloaded the videos and started spreading them across various social media.
The celebrations have already begun in Korea, according to AP News, with plans to illuminate City Hall, Lotte World Tower, the Han River Bridges, and the DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) dome in purple.
In the meantime, happy anniversary messages have been airing on billboards throughout Seoul.
To add icing on the cake, after BTS leader RM has a virtual chat with fans on Saturday night, a fireworks display will be held near the Han River to cap everything off.
