Anji, who's worked as a cinematographer for films like The Angrez, PSV Garuda Vega, is now weilding the megaphone with 10th Class Diaries. Featuring Srikanth (Roja Poolu fame), Avika Gor in the lead, the film's supporting cast includes Madhumitha, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Rama Rao, Archana, Himaja, Nasser and Shiva Balaji. The film is produced by Achyuta Rama Rao, Ravi Teja Manyam under SR Movie Makers and Anvitha Avani Kreation.
The teaser of 10th Class Diaries was released today. The promo takes us through the lives of several 15-year-old students studying in class ten but the focus is on a boy and a girl who find themselves falling for one another gradually. The scene shifts to their later years where the lead character, played by Srikanth, is planning a renunion and everyone in his batch convey their approval for the plan.
While the friends meet at a particular resort, Srikanth is surprised by the absence of his childhood sweetheart Chandini (Avika Gor). One later realises that there's a dark past that connects Srikanth and Avika Gor, where the former was apparently responsible for wrecking havoc in the girl's life. There are a lot of emotional, physical clashes in the offing. The crux of the story is about how Srikanth come to terms with these incidents and arrive at an understanding with Avika.
The premise shares an uncanny similarity with the plots of other reunion-based films like 96 and Inkosaari. Shot across Chikmagalur, Rajahmundry and USA, 10th Class Diaries has wrapped its shoot and will be hitting theatres on March 4. Suresh Bobbili is the music director while Prawin Pudi has handled the edits. Satyam Rajesh, Bhanusree, Sivaji Raja, Rajasri Nair and Thagubothu Ramesh too will be seen in crucial roles.
