Now, in a new interview, 120 Bahadur actor Ankit Siwach opened up about the film and said that it is going to be 'heart-wrenching.'
In an interview with Zoom, Ankit Siwach opened up about Farhan Akhtar's upcoming war film, 120 Bahadur. He said that the film is likely to be released in November 2025. Giving an insight, Ankit said, "The film is based on the Battle of Rezang La, the Indo-China War. It's going to be a heart-wrenching film. It is very special. That's all that I can say right now because we have six months to go before the film to release."
He also added that the film is very special for the country and the story was waiting to be told in this way, so that it would be told in the film.
Announcing the film on Instagram, Farhan captioned his post, "What they accomplished will never be forgotten. It is an absolute privilege to bring you the story of Maj. Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC) and the soldiers of Charlie company, 13 Kumaon regiment."
Farhan will play the role of Major Shaitan Singh was an Indian army officer. Major Singh is known for his heroic role in the 1962 Sino-Indian War. During the Battle of Rezang La in the Ladakh sector, his company was outnumbered by the Chinese forces. However, he mounted a fierce defense. Singh was also a recipient of India's highest military decoration, the Param Vir Chakra, for his extraordinary bravery and leadership.
