14 Phere trailer: Vikrant Massey-Kriti Kharbanda promise a crazy ride

We all know about the significance of 7 phere in a wedding. When someone talks of 14 phere, it is sure to get you curious and possibly drive you crazy. Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda’s upcoming film 14 Phere is up for the same kind of craziness, probably more.

The relationship between Sanjay (Vikrant) and Aditi (Kriti) has grown from harassment to torture. From harassment, we mean that Aditi and Sanjay met when she bullied him into apologising to her every time they met. The torture comes in the form of Aditi’s father, who cannot accept a happy relationship, thus forcing the couple to scoop up plans they would not have executed otherwise.

Vikrant, last seen in Netflix’s Haseen Dillruba, shared that he fell in love with the script of 14 Phere as soon as he read it. Kriti, on the other hand, said, “I was so invested in Aditi and Sanjay and couldn't wait to know what could happen next.”

14 Phere is directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kalwani. Devanshu claims that the film ‘celebrates the institution of family and marriage,’ as he adds, “We are not trying to make fun of traditions and customs; in fact, you can watch this film with your entire family, and I am sure you will have a good time.”

Apart from Vikrant and Kriti, the film stars Jameel Khan and Gauahar Khan in the lead roles. The family drama is produced by Zee Studios and will stream on Zee5 from July 23.
