It's been 16 years since Chak De! India hit the big screen. The film, which shows Shah Rukh Khan as the rough and tough Kabir Khan brought a newfound respect for the game of our national sport, hockey, to the country. In the Shimit Amin-directed movie, the superstar played the role of the coach for India's women's hockey team. Over the years, the film has been much discussed owing to the fact that it showed how women from diverse backgrounds come together and fight against the world to win the World Cup in the end.

However, today, let's take a fun ride with Chak De! India. It's a known fact that Ayushmann Khurrana is a huge Shah Rukh fan, and the actor left no stone unturned in emulating the superstar for a spoof film. Yes, we are talking about MTV Fully Faltoo's Cheque De India, which is a parody of Chak De! India. The short film was released in 2008, in which Ayushmann played the leading role, imitating SRK fully and at his best.

The film, which was dropped a year after the release of Chak De! India, also made a parody of Shah Rukh Khan's Indian Premier League team, the Kolkata Knight Riders.

In the 2007 film, former Indian hockey captain Kabir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) has returned to the role of coach for the national women's team. A mismatched group of girls who have forgotten what it's like to play just because they enjoy doing it; the movie follows a coach as he works to bring together a squad of athletes from vastly different backgrounds and teaches them to use their differences as a source of strength.

Apart from SRK, the sports-based film also features Vidya Malvade, Sagarika Ghatge, Shilpa Shukla, Chitrashi Rawat, Arya Menon, Seema Azmi, Nisha Nair, Anaitha Nair, Tanya Abrol, and others in supporting roles.
