16 years of Welcome - Akshay Kumar drops stylish clip with Sanjay Dutt from Welcome To The Jungle shoot to mark special day

In 2007, the Anees Bazmee-directed film Welcome made moviegoers laugh out loud. The audience continues to like the film, which starred Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar, because of its hilarious dialogues, unusual plot, and iconic characters. Today is the 16th anniversary of the movie's theatrical release, and to commemorate the special occasion, Akshay Kumar has shared a stylish video.

In a video that Khiladi Kumar posted on Instagram, he can be seen riding a horse. There's a surprise in the video, as it also features Sanjay Dutt, who is riding a bike next to Akshay. The video was captured during the filming of the third installment of the highly successful Welcome franchise, Welcome To The Jungle.

A few years after the release of Welcome, the director surprised his audience with the Welcome Back sequel. Recently, Akshay made an official announcement, stating that the third installment, Welcome To The Jungle (Welcome 3), will be released in theatres the following year.

In 2015, a sequel with the title Welcome Back was released. John Abraham and Shruti Haasan played the new major roles.

About Welcome To The Jungle

The film has a star-studded cast, including Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Kiku Sharda, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani. The film will also include singers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh. Welcome 3 is set to be released on December 20, 2024.
