18 Pages trailer: Nikhil Siddhartha is obsessed with a mystery girl in this feel-good romance drama

After a dose of mystery and myth with Karthikeya 2, Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran make way for the season of love in their next release, 18 Pages. Written by Pushpa filmmaker Sukumar and directed by Palnati Surya Pratap, the romance drama, produced by Bunny Vas under GA2 Pictures, is gearing up for a release on December 23. With all the four songs composed by Gopi Sundar striking a chord with audiences, the team is confident about the film’s prospects at the box office.

The trailer of 18 Pages was launched amidst the cast, crew of the film at Next Galleria Mall, Panjagutta today. In the film, Nikhil is cast as Siddhu, a modern-day youngster, who is charmed by a mystery girl Nandini through her diary. He hasn’t met her yet, but is obsessed with her thoughts and she’s always on his mind. Nandini, meanwhile, is a traditional, girl-next-door character, who has her own identity, doesn’t use social media and distances herself from the chaos of the world.

While Siddhu goes about his daily life, his heart is very much with Nandini’s diary. Will he ever get to meet Nandini directly? What if her life is in danger? Is there any cause that Siddhu stands up for? The trailer piques your curiosity by showcasing a few flashes of the protagonists’ lives without revealing much. 18 Pages appears to be a perfect mix of romance, drama, good music, apt casting with a plot that has the vibe of a page-turner.

With cinematography by A Vasanth, 18 Pages is edited by Navin Nooli and is jointly produced by Sukumar Writings. Actor Simbu has also crooned for a song in the film titled Time Ivvu Pilla. The pre-release event of the film will be held on December 19 with Allu Arjun as the chief guest.
