Gagaan Vihaarri, the actor who rose to fame with his appearances in films like Ninnu Kori, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, has gradually cemented his credibility as a performer in films like Sashi, Power Play, Leharaayi and Gaali Sampath. He was well appreciated for his 2022 release, 1996 Dharmapuri, the rural action drama, written and directed by Jagath as well.

Now, the actor has announced his next film titled Gaangeaya, to be helmed by a debutant B Raamachandra Srinivasa Kumaar. Touted to be a family entertainer, the makers say the film will have the right mix of commercial ingredients to appease audiences of all age groups. The story will touch upon patriotism and many pertinent social issues, while also keeping crowds invested in the plot.

Avyuktha plays the female lead alongside Gagaan. T Hema Kumar Reddy and Suman are cast as cops in the film. T Hema Kumar Reddy is bankrolling Gaangeaya under Vijaya Gowthamy Art Movies, presented by M Vijaya Sekhar Reddy, which was formally launched in Hyderabad today with a pooja ceremony. While Vijaya Sekhar Reddy switched on the camera, director Samudra sounded the clapboard.

At the launch event, director B Raamachandra Srinivasa Kumaar called Gaangeaya a family film and said the story says how peace across the world can be achieved if humans respect and love each other and look beyond divisive aspects like religion or cast. The film, to be made in Telugu, will be releasing in five languages. Rap Rock Shakeel scores the music for the same.

Adusimilli Vijay Kumar cranks the camera for the entertainer, to be edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Vaasu is the art director. The supporting cast comprises The Jaank, Ranadheer, Alok Jain, Heera Madhuri, Jayavani, Johar, Chandra Sekhar, Muralidhar Reddy, Bhaskar Reddy, Khadeer, and Dasana.
