Karan Johar’s prized possession Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham has clocked 20 years today. The popular family-drama film has not gathered the attention only in India but all over the world. It ensembles the stellar cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, it also features Rani Mukerji in a special appearance.

While most of you remember the funny and quirky characters of the film, you might want to know about the child actors, who played the iconic characters like Poo, Laddoo and where are they now. We have curated a list of all the child actors from the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Have a look:

Aryan Khan as Junior Rahul Raichand

Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan portrayed the character of Junior Rahul Raichand. Aryan was seen in one of the initial scenes, where the five-year-old Rahul hugs his mother Nandini Chandran Raichand (Jaya Bachchan).

Last year, the star kid was caught and released in a drug case, which became the national news of the country. He made his voice acting debut in the Hindi-dubbed version of The Lion King in 2019 for the titular character Simba.

Aryan is now set to debut as a showrunner for an upcoming project under Red Chillies Entertainment.

Kavish Majumdar as Junior Rohan Raichand (Laddoo)

Laddoo is one of the cutest characters in the family drama film. The junior version of Hrithik Roshan’s character Rohan Raichand was played by Kavish Majumdar. After Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The actor has seen the films like Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Main Tera Hero, Bank Chor in supporting characters. 

Malvika Raaj as Junior Pooja Sharma (Poo)

Kareena Kapoor is known for her character Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The junior version of the most stylish character of the 2001 film was played by Malavika Raaj. The actress was back in front of the camera with a few music videos. 

Earlier, she was seen in a romantic single titled Jeena Bhool Jaunga with the TV actor Parth Samthan. While she debuted as the lead actress in the 2021 ZEE5 originals action-thriller film Squad opposite Rinzing Denzongpa, the son of veteran actor Danny Denzongpa.

Jessy Lever as Balram Rawat, Haldiram and Saraswati's son

“Wo London gaye, ekdin main bhi jaunga." You must remember the kid who clears all the confusion that his parents created and informs Hrithik’s Rohan that Anjali (Kajol) and his family are living in London. 

Balram Rawat, the son of Haldiram Rawat, was played by non-other than Jessy Lever, the real son of Johnny Lever. The young actor was seen in the Hrithik Roshan starrer War in 2019. 

Jibraan Khan as Krishna Raichand (Krish)

The cute and super intelligent kid of Rahul and Anjali was played by Jibraan Khan. The son of Mahabharat fame Firoj Khan, who essayed the character of Arjun in the 1988 epic TV series.

The 28-year-old Jibraan is all set to debut as one of the leads in the reprise version of Ishq Vishq along with Rohit Saraf among others.
