The makers of the intense thriller 200 Halla Ho are gearing up for the release of the film on Indian OTT giant ZEE5. The upcoming film, which stars Amol Palekar, Barun Sobti and Rinku Rajguru, is based on a real-life event, where 200 Dalit women come together to kill a vicious criminal in an open court.
The forthcoming movie also features Sahil Khatter as the antagonist. It follows the life of the people from a lower community, where the menacing criminal used to molest, rape and murder Dalit women and girls on a regular basis. While the crime continued for more than 10 years, nobody dared to come forward and register a case against him until Rinku’s character. 200 Halla Ho is set to premiere on August 20 on the digital streamer.
