Malayalam filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph has been touring across the South Indian states meeting his favourite movie stars and sparing endless speculations. He recently met Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan, on the very day he signed a contract with Lyca Productions.  

Jude was star-stuck when he had the opportunity to meet Kamal, calling him the inspiration for him to become a filmmaker. 

"If I can be called a film maker/actor or a film buff the least , only because of this Multi talented Genius. I started growing watching this man’s magic on and off screen . Really lucky to meet this awesome film encyclopaedia. This is the best thing happened to me till date. The fanboy moment. Literally I was shivering seeing him infront of me, what an aura. Love you sir . Another tick in my bucket list," wrote Jude Anthany Joseph on his facebook page. 

Jude Anthany Joseph has signed a contract to make a film for Lyca Productions. It's unclear whether the production banner will bankroll the filmmaker's next movie. Earlier, Jude confirmed that he will be joining hands with Malayalam star Nivin Pauly for his next . The project will mark the actor-director duo's reunion after a gap of over a decade. The duo worked in the 2014 romantic drama Ohm Shanthi Oshaana. 

And Jude's meeting with other movie stars has led to several speculations. 

Jude is currently enjoying the triumph of his film 2018, which has emerged as the highest-grossing film in the history of Malayalam cinema. With worldwide ticket sales exceeding Rs 150 crore, the movie surpassed expectations. Starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, the film was crafted with a budget of Rs 30 crore. Its exceptional success has positioned it as one of the most remarkable disaster movies ever made in India.
