Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is known as one of the cult classic movies in India. Starring the dynamic trio Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, the movie marks the directorial debut of Karan Johar. Reminiscing and cherishing his first film as a director, Johar shared a nostalgic video on social media featuring the iconic moments from the film.

Johar took to his official Instagram handle and shared an adorable video featuring Khan, Kajol and Mukerji in their iconic scenes from the film. The latest clip witnesses the most loved sequences such as multiple dance numbers with the legendary dialogues that went to become infamous among the cinephiles around the world. The filmmaker dropped the latest montage with a special quote on social media. A part of his IG caption reads, "25 years ago is where it all began…and here we are today celebrating not just a film but an EMOTION for me and from all the love we get for it, I gather it is for everyone too… (sic)."

About the iconic film

The comedy love story film chronicles the tale of a young man, who loses his wife at a very young age as well as all hopes in love or marrying again. However, his 8-year-old daughter aims to make his father fall in love again with his best friend from college. Bankrolled by Dharma Productions, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also features Sana Saeed, Salman Khan, Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh, Reema Lagoo, Himani Shivpuri, Johnny Lever and Parjan Dastur in key roles. The 1998 movie is now available to stream online on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
