Pookkaalam is a heartwarming and moving film that delves into the complexities of family and love. Centred around the life of Ittoop, a kind and generous centenarian. Ittoop life begins to unravel when he stumbles on a secret that was hidden from him by his family. The film beautifully captures the essence of human relationships, showcasing the complexities and bonds that exist within a family. The stellar cast includes Vijayaraghavan, KPAC Leela, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Basil Joseph, Johny Antony, Roshan Mathew, Jagadish Kumar, and Suhasini Maniratnam. Director Ganesh Raj weaves together a heartfelt narrative, skillfully balancing emotions and moments of levity. The story is filled with relatable moments and genuine emotions. 

Pookkaalam is streaming on Disney+Hotstar. 

Virupaksha:

This is easily one of the most-awaited Telugu movies in the OTT space . The horror thriller took the box office by surprise when it was released in theatres last month. The movie had a low-key release and things quickly changed after its debut at the box office. Powered by strong word of mouth, Virupaksha emerged as one of the highest-grossing movies in Telugu cinema so far. According to producers, the movie raked in a whopping Rs 100 crore in ticket sales . And it makes Virupaksha the biggest-ever hit in Sai Dharam Tej's career. Judging from the trailer, Virupaksha promises a riveting thriller that delves into the dark and mysterious world of occult practices and the consequences they unleash upon a village. The movie stars Samyuktha as the female lead. Helmed by Karthik Varma Dandu, the film's screenplay is penned by hit filmmaker Sukumar of Pushpa fame. 

Virupaksha will become available for streaming on Netflix on May 21.
