Today morning everyone woke up to the sad news of the passing away of actor Akhil Mishra, as per a report in E Times. For the unversed, Akhil Mishra is the same person who had played the role of the librarian Dubey ji in the superhit film ‘3 Idiots’.
The very moment one mentions of the film name ‘3 Idiots’, one is always reminded of not just the leading actors viz., Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. Besides them, there’s always the stellar performances of seasoned actor like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Boman Irani, Ali Fazal and others. Amidst all this, the one person who really made everyone stand up and take notice was actor Akhil Mishra.
Even though Akhil Mishra had a minimal role in the film, the fact also remains that, the kind of impact that he had created with his role of a librarian (esp. the stage speech scene) is still remembered even till date. The news report stated that, Akhil Mishra and his wife Suzanne Bernert (who is also an actress) were in Hyderabad for a shoot when the sad incident took place.
As for the late actor, even though he tasted immense success with his performance in ‘3 Idiots’, he has also been a part of many other projects. These projects include Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Well Done Abba, Don and others. As for TV, he had been a part of the popular show called ‘Utran’. He had played the role of Umed Singh Bundela. As for his wife Suzanne Bernert, even though she is of German origin, she has been a part of TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Savdhaan India, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.
Suzanne Bernert and Akhil Mishra had got married on February 3, 2009. This was followed by a traditional wedding on September 30, 2011.
