The spy thriller Goodachari starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala and Supriya Yarlagadda was a smash hit

Adivi Sesh is a busy man these days. He's leaving no stone unturned to get his act right for the biopic of Major Unni Krishnan, Major (a pan-Indian film to release in multiple languages). Sesh also recently gave his nod to be a part of the sequel to Hit, directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The writer-actor, commemorating the three years of his super hit spy thriller Goodachari, has now also hinted that the announcement surrounding its sequel may happen later this month, he shared on his social media handle. The actor played Agent Gopi in the film, for which he also wrote the story and screenplay.

Goodachari, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka (who is also directing Adivi Sesh's Major), was produced by Abhishek Nama, TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal. The sequel, scripted by Adivi Sesh himself, will also be bankrolled by the same producer-trio.
It was earlier announced that newcomer Rahul Pakala may helm Goodachari 2. The female lead for the same isn't finalised yet. Before Goodachari, Adivi Sesh's career took a turn with Kshanam, the thriller that he wrote and starred in, alongside Adah Sharma, Anasuya and Vennela Kishore. He didn't have to look back ever since, with a flurry of hits like Ami Tumi, Evaru to name a few. Some of his other popular screen appearances were for Panja, Baahubali, Run Raja Run, Oh Baby and Balupu. His upcoming release Major is jointly produced by Telugu actor Mahesh Babu and Sony Entertainment.
