30 Years of Beta: Anil Kapoor celebrates three decade anniversary with throwback photos featuring him and Madhuri Dixit

Steller actor Anil Kapoor was last seen in the Netflix film AK vs AK with the Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. The Bollywood actor is now gearing up to be seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which also stars Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the 65-year-old star shared a few throwback photos from one of his iconic movies, Beta, which completed the 30 years of its release on April 3.

In Kapoor's recent IG post, the cast of the film can be seen receiving the Filmfare awards. In the first picture, Anil and Beta's lead actress Madhuri Dixit can be seen holding their Filmfare trophies. Another image is the poster of the movie that mentions that the family-drama flick has won 5 Filmfare Awards. In the last two images, both the actors can be seen receiving their awards on the stage.

The Ram Lakhan actor also wrote a heartfelt note in the caption that reads, "It was a great feeling for us as actors when our film was the biggest blockbuster of the year 1992 and received so much love and all the accolades! Celebrating 30 years of Beta! @madhuridixitnene @indrakumarofficial #AshokThakeria (sic)."

Beta chronicles the story of a simple and good-hearted man, who gets torn between his evil stepmother and his kind-hearted wife. Apart from Kapoor and Madhuri, the 1992 film also has Aruna Irani as the antagonist and Laxmikant Berde, Anupam Kher, Priya Arun, Akash Khurana, Adi Irani, Bharati Achrekar in supporting roles among others.
