3 BHK release date out: Siddharth’s family drama set for theatrical opening in July

We had earlier reported that actor Siddharth, who was seen in films like Chithha, Boys and Sivappu Manjal Pachai, is starring in the upcoming Tamil film titled 3 BHK. The makers on Tuesday announced the release date of the film. 3 BHK will hit the big screens on July 4.

3 BHK release date out: Siddharth’s drama film to have July opening

3 BHK is an upcoming Tamil film starring actor Siddharth in the lead role. Touted to be a family drama, the film is helmed by Sri Ganesh of 8 Thottakkal fame. On Tuesday, the makers dropped the release update. 3 BHK will have a summer release on July 4, in theatres.

Besides Siddharth, the film also stars Sarathkumar, Devyani, Meetha Raghunath of Good Night fame, Kannada actor Chaithra J Achar in her Tamil debut. 3 BHK will narrate the tale of a middle-class family whose aspiration is to move into their own house. Devyani and Sarathkumar, the celebrated pair from Suryavamsam, will be reuniting with 3 BHK. The cast also includes Yogi Babu. The technical crew consists of Dinesh Krishnan B and Jithin Stanislaus cranking the camera, and Amrit Ramnath, son of well-esteemed playback singer Bombay Jayashri, scoring the music. Ganesh Siva is the editor, and Vinoth Rajkumar N handles production design.

What did cast of 3 BHK say about the film?

Sarathkumar, who is playing the head of the family in 3 BHK, had earlier spoken about the film to OTTplay. He said that the film will show him from the age of 35 to 80. “Every phase of my life is shown, the ambition to build a home, and there comes along my wife, first child and second child, pressures from society, and more. Both myself and wife in the film, Devyani, are ageing. It is a character that is changing, both physically and mentally,” he added.

Siddharth, whose 40th film is 3 BHK, also said that it is an important film in his career.
