420 IPC revolves around the arrest of a chartered accountant (played by Vinay Pathak) for committing an economic offence. We will get to see Gul Panag essaying the role of Pathak’s wife in the movie. Rohan Vinod Mehra will be representing the chartered accountant as his lawyer, while Ranvir Shorey portrays the role of an eccentric Parsi public prosecutor.
