Composer and now filmmaker Arjun Janya’s most recent social media post is about the impending trailer launch of his debut film, 45, The date announcement of the trailer will be done shortly is what Arjun is posted. Interestingly enough, the debutant filmmaker had spoken about the promotional plans during a recent interview with RJ Mayuraa on his Gold Class podcast. Arjun had said that the plan was to have a big event in Bengaluru on December 15 for the trailer launch, following which the team would devote time for the film’s pan-India release with multi-city visits.

45 promotions not to clash with Mark

But considering that December 15 is a working day, chances are that Arjun may look at advancing the trailer launch by a day or two to maximise reach, create some buzz and then head to the other cities, ahead of the film’s December 25 theatrical outing. Of course, with Kiccha Sudeep’s Mark also releasing on the same time and the team looking at a similar window for their promotions, Arjun will look at not stepping on their toes. As such, the composer is not happy about the box office clash, a situation he would have loved to avoid, given his equation with Sudeep.

It is expected that promotions of both 45 and Mark will begin in full swing after the release of Darshan’s The Devil, which is coming out in the actor’s absence on December 11. 45 stars Shivarajkumar, Upendra and Raj B Shetty in the lead and was meant to be an August release, but the film is VFX heavy and delays in its completion meant that it had to be postponed to a later date. The team claims that they were made aware of Sudeep’s Christmas release plans only after they announced theirs.
