Tamil film Kurangu Pedal, a slice-of-life drama dedicated to children, is currently running in theatres. The film is about a couple of fifth-graders who yearn to learn how to ride a cycle during their summer vacations. While it is indeed a rarity in Tamil cinema to make films for and with children, there are some notable titles that you can stream. Anjali is not only a film for adults but also tucks in various entertaining factors for young audiences as well.

Pasanga 2 is a 2015 film directed by Pandiraj and is a spiritual sequel to his film Pasanga. Pasanga 2 revolves around the issue of ADHD among children and is set in an urban backdrop. The film stars Nishesh, Vaishnavi, Ramdoss, Vidya Pradeep, Karthik Kumar and Bindu Madhavi among others, with Suriya and Amala Paul appearing in cameo roles. Pasanga 2 was a commercial success and bagged many awards upon its release. It is produced by Suriya.

My Dear Bootham is children's fantasy film directed by N Ragavan. Starring Prabhudheva and Ashwanth Ashokkumar of Super Deluxe fame, the film is about a young boy who finds a lamp and opens it only to summon the king of all genies to appear before him. Together they share a bond, as they fulfill each other's wishes.
