Movies and shows to release on OTT on January 31:

Identity

The Malayalam action thriller is directed by directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. It features Tovino Thomas, Trisha, Vinay Rai, Mandira Bedi, Archana Kavi, and Shammi Thilakan. The story is about a murder investigation based on an eyewitness description of the perpetrator. A sketch artist and a cop work together to unravel the mystery. It will stream on ZEE5. You can also watch the film through your OTTPlay Premium subscription. 

The Secret Of The Shiledars

The Secret of the Shiledars is directed by the Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar. A first-of-its-kind treasure hunt-based series features Rajeev Khandelwal, Sai Tamhankar, Gaurav Amlani, and Ashish Vidyarthi. The series will show the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the role of the Shiledars in shaping the Maratha era. It is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. 

Queer

The period romantic drama film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, stars Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey. Set in 1950s Mexico City, the film revolves around an outcast American immigrant who becomes infatuated with a much younger man. It will be available to watch on MUBI. 

Lucca's World

Based on the book of the same name, the film is about a woman who is determined to help her son, who has cerebral palsy. She travels to India to seek experimental treatment for her son. Featuring features Bárbara Mori and Juan Pablo Medina, the film will stream on Netflix. 

Bad Genius

The gripping thriller drama features Benedict Wong, Callina Liang, Jabari Banks, Taylor Hickson, and Sarah-Jane Redmond. It is an English remake of the 2017 Thai film of the same name. The story revolves around a teenage girl studying in a prestigious school, who develops a business based on helping students to achieve top scores in exams. It will start streaming on Lionsgate Play.
