6 Hollywood movies leaving Netflix in December 2025: From American Made to Barbie

Can you believe we are just a month away for 2025 to say goodbye?! The year flew by within a blink an eye just like how Tom Cruise's whole Mission Impossible franchise will be vanished from Netflix. That's right, the first six MI flicks are pulling the plug on December 1. But that's not all, Netflix has a vast list of movies from Hollywood that are leaving the platform forever next month. However, before that, this November 30, you will also have to bid goodbye to the first two Now You See Me movies and the series Parenthood. Watchmen

Malin Akerman's this DC superhero flick is leaving Netflix on November 30 in India. Watchmen is set in the alternate history of the year 1985 during the Cold War, where a group of retired American superheroes investigate the murder of one of their own before uncovering a deadly conspiracy with which they are all connected. Unlike usual superhero genre with a hero and a villain's conflict, this movie highlights psychologically flawed characters with dark intentions that questions what it's like to be a hero.

Barbie

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling's this fantasy drama was the highest-grosssing movie of 2023 with a collection of $1.4 billion worldwide. Barbie is leaving Netflix on December 20. Based on Mattel's popular fashion dolls, Barbie is the first live-action movie after numerous animated flicks and specials. The movie follows the doll Barbie and her lover Ken embark on a self-discovery journey to the real world that follows an existential crisis.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

The fourth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise is leaving Netflix on November 30. For the unversed, Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor appeared in a pivotal role in this Tom Cruise-starrer in 2011. Ghost Protocol also stars Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Josh Holloway and Lea Seydoux. The story follows Ethan Hunt and his team must go off the grid to stop the real culprit of bombing in Kremlin.

World War Z

Brad Pitt's this horror action drama folllows the world crumbling due to a mysterious infection that's turning human into deadly zombies. A former UN investigator must leave his family to embark on a mission of finding the source of the infection. World War Z is leaving Netflix on December 5. Released in 2013, the movie is inspired by the namesake book of Max Brooks. The supporting cast includes Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale and Matthew Fox.

Wanted

Angelina Jolie's this action thriller is leaving Netflix on December 16 in India. Wanted is loosely based on the comic book miniseries by J G Jones and Mark Millar. Also stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Terence Stamp and Thomas Kretschmann. The story follows a frustrated office worker who finds out his father was an assassin and he shares his father's latent abilities. He gets recruited into a secret society of assassins called 'Fraternity' that's led a mysterious woman named, Fox.

American Made

This crime thriller was released in 2017 and now leaving Netflix India on December 7. American Made is inspired the real-life story of Barry Seal, who was a TWA pilot and had became a drug smuggler for the Medellín Cartel in the 1980s. To avoid jail sentence, he became an informant for the DEA later. Tom Cruise portayed the titular role of Barry Seal. The movie also stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright, Alejandro Edda, Mauricio Mejía, Caleb Landry Jones and Jesse Plemons in pivotal roles.
