They promised that the trailer of Rakshit Shetty’s June 10 release, 777 Charlie would leave us feeling warm and fuzzy and boy, have they lived up to that. But then, there was no doubt that they’d deliver on this count, given how heart-warming everything they’ve shown us about the film so far has been, be it the teaser or the Torture song, among others. And the trailer of the Kiranraj K debut directorial, just stepped it up a notch. In fact, Rakshit had earlier tweeted that the team had done an amazing job on the trailer and that he couldn’t wait for the world to see it. That wait ends now as the team released the trailer at 12.12 pm today of the road drama that follows Dharma (Rakshit) and a dog called Charlie and their transformative journey.

Produced by Rakshit Shetty and GS Gupta for Paramvah Studios, 777 Charlie was earlier lined up for a December 31, 2021 release, in keeping with the actor-filmmaker’s track record of having hit films come to theatres as year-end outings. This, however, was pushed ahead later on, amid fears of a third wave of the pandemic. It was also rumoured that the team was still in negotiations with popular distribution houses across the country to facilitate its pan-India release in the best way possible.
