Promotions are a big deal, no matter the scale of the film or the star power of the actor(s) on board. This also means that these days, everything is newsworthy, especially if you are looking at taking your film across the country as a pan-India release. So, just as much as the strategic partnerships you forge for this matter, also important are the names that associate with you to spread the word about your film.

Rakshit Shetty’s 777 has a barrage of actors joining in his happiness today, as he prepares to present the trailer of his much-anticipated film, 777 Charlie. While the team has an on-ground event in Bengaluru to launch and screen the trailer for a select audience, for the rest of the country, some of their favourite stars will do the honours of the digital launch on their social media handles.

While Tamil superstar Dhanush has the solo responsibility of launching the Tamil version, the Telugu trailer will find audiences in the followers of Venkatesh, Lakshmi Manchu and Sai Pallavi. The more the merrier applies in Malayalam, where five actors will launch the trailer, namely Nivin Pauly, Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Arjun Ashokan and Antony Varghese.

The official channels for the trailer are Paramvah Studios (Kannada, Hindi), Prithviraj Productions (Malayalam), Stonebench Films (Tamil), Suresh Productions (Telugu). Produced by Rakshit Shetty and GS Gupta for Paramvah Studios, 777 Charlie is releasing in theatres on June 10. Directed by Kiranraj K, the film has music by Nobin Paul and has Raj B Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Danish Sait and Bobby Simha in pivotal roles.

The film follows the bond between Dharma (Rakshit) and a canine called Charlie and how their relationship becomes a transformative journey for the former. As many as three dogs were part of the shoot to play Charlie in various stages of development.
