Ranveer Singh dropped yet another exciting poster of 83 ahead of the film's trailer release. In the poster, the actor playing Kapil Dev is seen holding his bat and giving an intense look. While the second part of the poster features the other actors playing the rest of Team India. 83 is based on India's first win at the World Cup in the year 1983. 

While sharing the poster, Ranveer once again quoted Kapil Dev and stated, "'Bachpan se meri mumma mujhe sirf ek hee cheez kehti aayi hai-Beta jeet ke aana, koi best of luck nahi." Bas jeet ke aana. ' -Kapil Dev, 1983. "

The trailer for 83 will be out tomorrow, and the film is set to hit the big screens in 3D format too.

The film also features Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, and Sahil Khattar in the lead roles.

Earlier, during an interaction, Tahir, who plays Sunil Gavaskar onscreen, had spoken about the film. The actor told IANS that he can't wait for 83 to hit theatres. Tahir added that it's appropriate given the film's buzz since 83 has the ability to transform theatres into cricket stadiums where people root and chant for India. 

He called it a film about how India rose from obscurity to become world champions, a watershed event not only in the cricketing history but also for every Indian living wherever in the world.

Tahir shared that holiday release will provide them with the audience that a film of this magnitude deserves. The actor called 83 as Kabir Khan's labour of love and enthusiasm for the Indian cricket squad, which wowed the globe with their tenacity.

83 is slated to have a theatrical release on December 24, 2021, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
