Netflix has unveiled the trailer of A Boy Called Christmas, starring Henry Lawfull in the titular role. Based on the 2015 children’s book of the same name by Matt Haig, the holiday season movie also stars Harry Potter fame Maggie Smith and Jim Broadbent.
The latest trailer glimpses the journey of a boy who is on a run to find the town of elves and hopes to bring back magic to the world. The latest video chronicles the adventure that he experiences as well as the difficulties he faces during his trip in the cold winter season. The boy named Nikolas finds out that his pet mouse can speak and takes him along on the journey as well. An elve and a daughter comes out of nowhere and tell him he couldn’t find something unless he believes in it. Later the boy finally discovers the small city of magical creatures including elves and see them celebrating Christmas with each other.
The official synopsis reads, “An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm.”
The OTT giant shared the latest official trailer through its Instagram handle and captioned it, “A Boy Called Christmas
Before he was Santa, he was Nikolas A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS flies to Netflix Nov. 24 in select regions (Sic).”
