A fan asks Adivi Sesh to write an action thriller for Mahesh Babu, here's what the Hit 2 actor said

Adivi Sesh is on a roll. The actor-writer has just scored his fifth hit in a row with the success of his latest release Hit 2. The film, the second instalment to the action thriller franchise directed by Sailesh Kolanu, won critical acclaim and is setting the box office on fire as well. Hit 2 has collected nearly Rs 6 crore on day one, nearly 40% of the amount the film needs to reach the break-even stage (Rs 15 crore), and is expected to earn profits for buyers by Sunday across many territories.

Sharing his happiness over the film's success, the actor-writer responded to a few questions from his fans on Twitter earlier today. One of the fans had expressed his desire to see Mahesh Babu in the stylish action thrillers that Adivi Sesh was popular for, and asked him to pen a script for the star. For the uninitiated, Mahesh Babu had co-produced Sesh's earlier release Major, the pan-Indian biopic of army man Sandeep Unnikrishnan. 

Responding to the question, Sesh said that he wasn't sure if an action-thriller script would suit Mahesh Babu but informed that the star had called him earlier today to appreciate his work for Hit 2. "Don’t know. Suit avuthundho ledho Aalochinchaali. But Mahesh sir called me this morning and spoke for a long time about how PROUD he is of me. I got tears in my eyes. And l promised I will always be there as his brother. Can’t wait to show him #HIT2 #AskSesh," the Goodachari actor tweeted.

Meenakshi Chaudhary played the female lead in Hit 2, written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Suhas, Komalee Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Srinath Maganti, Tanikella Bharani and others too essayed important roles in the thriller. Prashanti Tipirneni bankrolled the film under Wall Poster Cinema while actor Nani was the presenter. Amazon Prime Video had acquired the film's streaming rights.
