A glimpse into Sai Tamhankar’s role in Samantar 2

Recently, fans got a glimpse of Sai Tamhankar in Samantar 2. The show originally featured Swwapnil Joshi and Nitish Bharadwaj in the lead roles. The two played the character of Kumar Mahajan and Sudarshan Chakrapani respectively.

In the latest promo, Sai’s character is seen with both Kumar as well as Sudarshan. It is thus interesting to figure whether the actress has a lead role in the second season of Samantar or is actually a ghost from the past.

The Samantar 2 trailer hinted that Sai’s character would enter Kumar’s life, after which he faces an identity crisis. Kumar’s whole life is shattered in front of his eyes after she enters his life. His happily-married life turns upside-down and he is imprisoned too.

Samantar 2 is directed by Satish Rajwade. It also stars Tejaswini Pandit in the role of Kumar Mahajan’s wife Nima.

Samantar is the story of Kumar and Sudarshan who the former believes is his future self, after Sudarshan predicts the consequences of Kumar’s actions to him.

The first season, which streamed nine episodes, ended right after Kumar finds Sudarshan’s diary, which eerily documents the life Kumar has lived so far. It also has parts of what his future would look like.

The MX Original series has been shot in Marathi and was dubbed later in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. It is slated to release on July 1.
