Chiranjeevi has teamed up with star director Anil Ravipudi, who last made the industry hit Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. The family drama was announced on an auspicious note and is busy with its shoot.

The latest update is that a romantic song featuring Nayanthara and Chiranjeevi is currently being shot in Alappuzha, Kerala, which is known for its backwaters. This is the first time that Nayanthara has been paired with Chiranjeevi for a romantic drama.
Already, two schedules of the film have been wrapped up, and the makers are quite happy with the output. Anil Ravipudi is known to make films on a very quick note, and he has already completed 40% of the shoot. Thaman S is the music composer of this film, and he has already composed a special song, which is being shot as of now.
Venkatesh will be seen in a special role in this film, and this is also the first time that he is teaming up with a big star like Chiranjeevi. So, naturally, this film has become a hot cake in the trade circles. The other day, we at OTTplay had already revealed that the makers are planning to name the film Siva Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Though an official confirmation is yet to be made, this news has gone viral across Telugu film circles.
Sahu Garapati and Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Sushmita Konidela, are jointly producing this film, which is being made on a massive scale. The news is also that Chiranjeevi will be seen as a headmaster in the school, and Nayanthara will play the role of a school teacher. The film is about a husband and wife and how they deal with ego issues in their professional life.
Anil Ravipudi has only given superhits in the past, and not one of his films has failed to date. The manner in which he executes comedy films is liked by one and all. So naturally, when he has teamed up with Chiranjeevi, everybody is eager to see what kind of role he will showcase Chiranjeevi in after a very long time.
Vishwambhara is also nearing its completion
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi’s yet another film, Vishwa, is also nearing its completion. The talkie part has been wrapped up, and the post-production related to the VFX part is being done as of now. The makers are looking at a September–October 2025 release date and will very soon lock the date.
