Lee Dong-wook started making headlines once again since Harbin released, because like always, his scenes became the talk of K-Town. Naturally, his 2024 series A Shop For Killers hogged the spotlight too, since there has been clarity that the series will have a sequel. So, what's the update on A Shop For Killers season 2? Find out...
Will there be a second season for A Shop For Killers? Yes. Is it confirmed to be in the works? No.
A report on Newsen suggests that the production house clarified that while there are positive discussions on A Shop For Killers season 2, it is not yet confirmed.
The clarification from Disney Plus comes in lieu of a report carried by Star News that A Shop For Killers season 2 production is confirmed and filming will begin in April 2025.
Lee Kwon was asked about the sequel of the series back in March 2024, when the lineup for Disney Plus was announced. He did not turn down the idea but did struggle with understanding how to take the story forward from season 1. Well, fans are just happy to see Dong-wook as Jeong Jin-man in season 1 for now (but of course, they want to see more of their oppa).
A Shop For Killers is based on a novel of the same name. The series premiered on January 17, 2024. Dong-wook plays uncle to Kim Hye-jun's Jeong Ji-an in the drama. The January 17 release was loved not only in Korea but also globally. The series also starred Park Ji-bin, Geum Hae-na, Seo Hyun-woo and Jo Han-sun in pivotal roles.
