A Thursday beats Freddy, Monica, O My Darling to be the most loved 2022 direct-to-OTT film – see full list

Yami Gautam’s A Thursday has managed to become the most loved direct-to-OTT film in 2022. The movie has beaten the likes of Kartik Aaryan’s Freddy and Rajkummar Rao’s Monica, O My Darling to be at the top. The full list released by Ormax Media also consists movies like Thar, Darlings and Qala.

A Thursday was one of the more appreciated films which released in the beginning of 2022. The underrated gem Kaun Pravin Tambe? featuring Shreyas Talpade in the lead role is the second most loved film of the year.

Vikrant Massey’s Forensic is the third most loved film of the year. It has also managed to beat Freddy and Monica, O My Darling.

Kartik Aaryan’s Freddy, which was the most-spoken-about in the year, did not make it to top three. It is the fourth most loved film of the year.

Monica, O My Darling makes it to top five. It is the fifth most loved film of the year.

Qala and India Lockdown also made it to the list. While Qala is the eighth most loved, Madhur Bhandarkar’s India Lockdown is the ninth most loved film of the year.

Thar and Darlings, which were among the most-spoken-about films of the year too, also made it to the list but not in top five. They are the sixth and seventh most loved films.

Yami Gautam’s other film also made it to top 10. Her movie with Abhishek Bachchan, Dasvi, is the tenth most loved film of the year.
