A Thursday: Kangana Ranaut shares her review of the film, Yami Gautam responds

Yami Gautam is basking in the glory of her recent successful OTT film, A Thursday. The film was released last month on Disney+ Hotstar and has been receiving a tremendous response from both critics and audiences alike. Gautam has especially been heaping praises for her performance in the crime thriller. One of the admirers of her work is the controversial actor Kangana Ranaut. 

Kangana took to the Instagram story to share her views about the film. The Queen actor shared the poster of Yami's film and wrote, "Congratulations to Team #Thursday @yamigautam @rsvpmovies". She added emojis to the story, applauding the film. 

Yami later shared the story on her Instagram story and thanked her for her comments. She wrote, "Thank you Kangana. Means a lot, especially when it comes from one self-made actor to another."

A Thursday is a spiritual sequel to the critically acclaimed film of 2008, A Wednesday by Neeraj Pandey. The film stars Yami in the leading role as Naina, who is a kindergarten teacher. She holds children of the school as hostages in the school and demands a lumpsum of Rs 5 crore in exchange for the freedom of the children. She also demands to meet with the Prime Minister, played by Dimple Kapadia. 

The film is directed by Behzad Khambata. It was released on February 18 on Disney+Hotstar.
