A Thursday: Yami Gautam overwhelmed by viewers' response, says 'it was a small film but you all made it so big'

The fans and critics have been loving and praising Yami Gautam's latest outing A Thursday. The actress has been feeling overwhelmed with the audiences' response and thanking them for showing such love to the film. 

Yami took a selfie video to her Instagram handle, where she can be seen talking about how the film has retained its position in the list of top 5 films even after four weeks. She also thanked the viewers for showering love to the movie. "A big big big thank you for A Thursday. It's still going strong. The viewership is still going strong with retaining its position at top 5," the actress added. Yami also said that it wouldn't have been possible without the love and support of the audience. 

"Thank you so much guys. It was a small film but you all made it so big. You are way too kind. Thank you for appreciating the film and the hard work of the team," she concluded.

Yami, who played the role of a playschool teacher who takes 13 children hostage holding the city for ransom, has been scoring rave reviews for her spectacular performance in A Thursday.

A Thursday, which also has Atul Kulkarni, Neha Dhupia and Karanvir Sharma in major roles, is streaming strong on Disney+ Hotstar

Meanwhile, Yami is gearing up for her upcoming outing Dasvi alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur and the Akshay Kumar starrer OMG2, which also has Pankaj Tripathy in a key role.
