A timeline of Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad's wedding rumours: When did they surface, and how did the actors react?

They've been together for a while now, and ever since Karan Johar's 50th birthday bash in May 2022, Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad have made no efforts to hide the fact that they are in a relationship. They are often spotted together, and Saba has been seen spending time with Hrithik's family, including his sons and ex-wife, Sussanne Khan.

Seeing that the couple is happily in love, there are constant rumours that Hrithik and Saba are all set to walk down the aisle. Here’s a breakdown of when and how all the wedding rumours began and how (if at all) the couple has reacted to them.

March 2022: There was a lot of talk about Hrithik and Saba being a couple in early 2022 before they came out in the open with their relationship later in the year. They were clicked often, visiting each other's families, which sparked rumours of them not just being together but also getting married soon. 

July 2022: Talk of Hrithik's second wedding began once again after a prediction by the late astrologer Bejan Daruwalla resurfaced on social media. Years earlier, after Hrithik and Sussanne's divorce, the astrologer had predicted that Hrithik will get married again.

Source of the matter: A source started being cited in several articles, claiming to be a close friend of the couple. This 'source' seems to have told several portals that Hrithik and Saba are in a good place in their relationship and that Saba is close to Hrithik's family, but that they are in no rush to get married. 

November 2022: Giving the latest update on the Hrithik-Saba relationship, a news portal claimed that the couple was all set to move in together in a luxurious Mumbai apartment. Hrithik, who otherwise brushes away such rumours, reacted with a social media post, in which he wrote, "There is no truth to this. As a public figure, I understand I'll be under the lens of curiosity, but it's best if we keep misinformation away, especially in our reportage, which is a responsible job."

Honeymoon plans: The rumours of the Hrithik-Saba wedding around his birthday went into specific details, such as the couple's honeymoon plans. According to some reports, Hrithik and Saba would jet off on a long honeymoon after their wedding.

Family acceptance: A lot has been written about how Saba has been well accepted into Hrithik's family. She is not only said to be close with Hrithik's parents and sister, but also with his two sons, Hrehaan and Hridaan, who have apparently accepted Saba as their stepmother. It turns out that she's also good friends with Hrithik's ex-wife, Sussanne Khan.

March 2023: A viral tweet by an entertainment portal started being shared widely, which claimed that Hrithik and Saba will be getting married in November 2023. While the two actors have not responded, Hrithik's father, filmmaker and veteran actor Rakesh Roshan, told another entertainment portal that he does not know anything about such plans.
