Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali team embraces a new medium for their promotions, here's all you need to know!

Mohana Krishna Indraganti, post the setback of the action thriller V, is back in action with a theatrical release Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali. The relationship drama has the filmmaker joining hands with Sudheer Babu for the third time after Sammohanam and V. Krithi Shetty plays the female lead in the film jointly produced by B Mahendra Babu and Kiran Ballapalli under Benchmark Studios in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers. The film is set to hit screens on September 16.

With only ten days left for the film's promotions, the team has come up with an innovative strategy to reach out to audiences. In what's a first-of-its-kind move, the makers are launching a podcast series to promote the movie. Yes, you heard that right and the first episode of the series, to release on multiple music streaming platforms today at 4.05 pm, will featire Vennela Kishore. If done well, this could become a sought-out avenue to promote Telugu films in the near future.

Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali's trailer, launched recently, takes us through a story of a popular, maverick filmmaker wanting to cast a real-life medico in his next film. After initial resistance, the latter says yes to the offer and the actor-director duo eventually falls in love. The twist in the tale comes from the inhibitions in the doctor's household. While the medico's mother has a poor opinion of the film industry, her father is a control freak who never lets her daughter breathe easy.

After Sammohanam, this is the director's second love letter to cinema. In the former film too, he captured the common man's love for cinema and the various complications that could arise when someone within the film industry falls for an ordinary youngster. Vivek Sagar is composing the music for Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali and the film has cinematography by PG Vinda. Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Kalyani Natarajan too play important roles.
