Yes, the rumours have now become true. The Pushpa actor will be joining hands with filmmaker Atlee for a film which will be produced by Sun Pictures. Not only does it mark the maiden collaboration between Atlee and Allu Arjun, but also the production banner’s first time actor with an actor who is not predominant in the Tamil film industry. At the LOLA VFX office, Allu Arjun and Atlee meet with the technicians for the pre-production works to begin. One of them, who has read the script, says, "My head is still spinning," while we see Allu Arjun try out various equipment and various creature props. Allu Arjun's body scans are taken as well, for AA22, which is touted to be a high-budget film.
Atlee, who hails from Tamil Nadu and is the former assistant of Shankar, has made it to the A-list of directors in India. Some of his best works include Theri, Mersal and Bigil, all starring Vijay in the lead. The films, with some dubbed versions, are available on OTTplay Premium right now!
