The picture of Aadhi Pinisetty and Ajith Kumar was doing the rounds on social media, which made us speculate if the Warrior actor was a part of AK 61 (tentatively titled). Ajith was seen sporting a white beard, his look for the H Vinoth directorial. However, Aadhi, in a press meeting, clarified that he went to Hyderabad to invite Ajith Kumar, to his wedding.

Aadhi and Nikki Galrani will tie the knot on May 18, at a hotel in Chennai. The wedding ceremony will be attended by their close friends and family members.

The actors were dating for a couple of years and got engaged on March 24, this year. The duo had worked together in films including Malupu, Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka, Maragadha Naanayam.

On March 28, the actor-duo posted a video on their respective social media handles, announcing the same. The caption of the video said, “Love. Happiness. Positivity," with an emoji of a red heart and infinity. The video went viral on the internet within hours of being posted there. Along with their friends and family, fans went crazy with their emotions in the comments section.

Nikki Galrani made her acting debut with Nivin Pauly starrer, in 1983. Her first Tamil film was Darling, in 2014. Her latest release was Idiot. The film, directed by Ram Bhala, of Dhilluku Dhuddu fame, also had Shiva and Redin Kingsley in key roles.

Recently, Nikki Galrani spoke about how the OTT opportunities allow her to explore her craft further. In an interview with Cinema Express, she said, “I have been getting offers, but I’m not entirely happy with them. I don’t want to be a part of films or series where I appear in a couple of scenes and then disappear. I’m looking for scripts where my character has prominence.”

Nikki, who has nearly 30-odd films to her credit, has had her share of hits and duds, and she admits that overcoming failures is harder than it seems. “It hurts. However, I believe in compensating for a flop by channelling my energy in the right direction and coming up with something better," she told Cinema Express.

Meanwhile, Aadhi's latest release in Tamil was Clap. The film, directed by Prithivi Adithya, currently streams on SonyLIV.
