The Telugu film, directed by Balaveer, features Aadi in the role of a cop

Actor Aadi Saikumar, whose acting career took off with two consecutive successes like Prema Kaavali and Lovely, is looking to bounce back with a bang. He's pinning all his hopes on Amaran In The City - Chapter 1, reportedly the highest-budgeted project of his career. S Balaveer directs the film where Aadi plays a cop and is paired alongside Uyyala Jampala actress Avika Gor. Adithya Om, Krishnudu, Manoj Nandan, Veera Shankar, Ayan, Shruti and Roshan play crucial roles in the film.
Amaran In The City - Chapter 1's shoot kickstarted in Hyderabad this Friday. The first schedule of the film will be shot at a massive police station set in addition to few other areas in the city. The film, produced by SVR, is expected to have extensive CG/VFX work. The film reportedly has a 'never-seen-before plot and underwent pre-production for over two years. Krishna Chaitanya scores the music for the film which has cinematography by RR Vishnu.
Giridhar Mamidipally, former manager of top actresses like Ileana and Trisha, the producer of Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki and Nayaki, is the co-producer of the same. The lead actor's father and actor Sai Kumar incidentally gained popularity with his intense portrayal of Agni, a cop in the high-voltage action drama Police Story many years ago. One hopes the cop role invites some luck into Aadi's career as well. His last release was Sashi that released in 2021.
