Is there a part 2 for Aadu 3
The 2026 Malayalam film Aadu 3 is the final installment in the popular comedy franchise, led by Jayasurya and helmed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. During a recent press meet of Aadu 3, director Midhun Manuel Thomas confirmed that Aadu 3 was envisioned and written as a two-part film. They have already completed shooting for part 1, which will release on March 19, 2026, while the script is ready for part 2.
"We conceived it as a two-part film. First part execution is completed, along with a prelude. We have completed the script for the next part. If you (viewers) give a green signal that you like it, we will immediately start with the shoot for the second part," explained the director who has also penned the script.

Producer Vijay Babu, who also plays the key role of Sarbath Shameer in the movie, also confirmed that both parts will feature the ensemble cast members of Aadu franchise.
When is Aadu 3 releasing
Aadu 3 is releasing on March 19, 2026, coming eight years after the second installment. As of now, no other Malayalam film has booked the same release date. Nivin Pauly’s political film Prathichaya is also set for a March release but an exact date is yet to be announced.
But notably, Aadu 3’s competitors are from other languages - Kannada film Toxic and Bollywood movie Dhurandhar 2, which are set for the biggest clash at the box office.
