The upcoming Malayalam film Aadu 3: One Last Ride Part 1 is all set for its big release on March 19, 2026. Ahead of that, the makers of the Jayasurya-led comedy film have given us a sneak peek into the misadventures of Shaji Pappan's gang, more precisely that of Arakkal Abu's revenge attempt that badly backfires. What does Aadu 3 Scene 1 show
The makers of Aadu 3 dropped a special glimpse from the movie on YouTube at 7pm on March 17. The glimpse begins with actor Saiju Kurup, who is back in the role of Arakkal Abu. A very confident Abu is heading to settle scores with Kunjappan from the first part, Aadu. However, Arakkal Abu's revenge attempt backfires, and he gets thrown off.
As he lies injured on top of Shaji Pappan's now-damaged van, the rest of the gang arrives, who inform him that they are in for 'big trouble'. The video then concludes, informing viewers that they can catch the rest of the story on the silver screen on March 19. Notably, Jayasurya's Shaji Pappan did not make an appearance in the latest glimpse.
What’s Aadu 3 about
Aadu 3 is the third installment of the comedy franchise crafted by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Aadu 3 Part 1 will continue with the tale of Shaji Pappan and his gang from Aadu 2. The upcoming film will have two timelines - one set in the present day, and the other in the days of monarchy, where Jayasurya will be seen as Maharaja Adithyan.
Aadu 3 will have a Part 2 too if the audience gives favourable feedback to Part 1, the makers have said. However, Part 2 will mark the epic conclusion of the Aadu franchise, director Midhun recently said, adding that he would leave the project, and anyone else can take up spinoffs, if they wish to.
Apart from Jayasurya and Saiju Kurup, the madcap comedy film also features Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bhagath Manuel, and Indrans in the fun ensemble cast.
