Aamir Khan has been trying to make his acting comeback and while he chose Sitaare Zameen Par for it, the actor might be eyeing something bigger. Back in 2008, when his film Ghajini was released, the movie broke many box office records as it went on to be the first film to enter Rs. 100 crore club. Many movies, especially featuring the Khans, went on to touch or cross the very mark since. Aamir might be trying to recreate the very magic, as he hinted at the Ghajini sequel recently. Producer Allu Aravind put out the idea, and Aamir was more than ready to take it on. Here's how the conversation went...

Aamir launched the Hindi trailer of Thandel, where the conversation happened. He and Allu Aravind discussed the Ghajini sequel. "I want to make Rs. 1000 crore film with him," the producer said, adding that it could be Ghajini 2. "Definitely, sir," Aamir was prompt to reply. Soon, they discussed that a lot was discussed on the internet regarding Ghajini 2 already.

Ghajini, a film discussed till date

Ghajini was originally made in Tamil and featured Suriya. When Aamir brought the movie to Bollywood, Asin starred as the female lead. Her tragic death in the film changed a lot and affected many. Both the movies were helmed by AR Murugadoss.

Ghajini craze and Box Office result

Ghajini was a craze, to the extent that men started getting the Ghajini cut. It was the first time we saw Aamir in 8-pack abs, and of course, his chemistry with Asin was just an added bonus to the story and soothing album.

Made on a budget of Rs. 65 crore, the film went on to mint Rs. 114 crore. The movie was the very first to earn over Rs. 100 crore at the box office, thus starting the trend of Rs. 100 crore club.
