Aamir Khan CONFIRMS Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in Laal Singh Chaddha, calls him 'biggest, iconic star in India'

After several speculations, Aamir Khan finally confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan indeed has a special appearance in Laal Singh Chaddha. There are reports making the rounds that SRK, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor are likely to mark their presence in the soon-to-be-released Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump. Now, during an interaction with an international publication, Aamir confirmed Shah Rukh's cameo.

The star stated, "Shah Rukh is a friend, and I told him that I needed someone who could represent what Elvis represented in America and is the biggest iconic star in India, which is why I'm coming to you."

For the uninitiated, in Forrest Gump, Young Forrest, who was born in 1956, has an IQ of 75 and is given leg braces to straighten out a bent spine. His mother, who owns a boarding home and encourages him to overcome his difficulties, lives with him in Greenbow, Alabama. A young Elvis Presley, who performs with Forrest and uses the boy's jerky dance steps in his concerts, is one of their short-term residents.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan drove out of Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat home in Mumbai's Bandstand two days ago, on August 5, according to a report in The Times of India. Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan, who made his directorial debut with Secret Superstar. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles. Laal Singh Chaddha is slated for release on August 11, 2022.
