Srikanth song Papa Kehte Hain was released a while back and Aamir Khan, who the original song was based on, graced the launch. The original track is from Aamir’s movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Aamir and Rajkummar’s first reactions on when the song played at the launch, was captured on camera. While Aamir couldn’t stop clapping, Rajkummar happily sang and danced in his seat as the track played in the background.
The reactions
Aamir kept clapping on hearing the version of Papa Kehte Hain in Srikanth. The actor also sang some verses of the song. But it was Rajkummar Rao who kept on dancing in his chair like a little kid and singing as the song played in the background. The two were seated in between the real Srikanth as they enjoyed the song to the fullest. Alaya F, seated next to Rajkummar, simply smiled as the song played.
Papa Kehte Hain, an iconic song
Crooned by Udit Narayan, Papa Kehte Hain is an iconic song from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The new version of the song, which is a part of Rajkummar-Alaya’s Srikanth, is sung by Anand-Milind and Aditya D along with Udit Narayan. The original music was by Anand Milind and it is recreated by Aditya Dev. The song is presented by T-Series and the lyrics are penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, Srikanth sees Rajkummar Rao in the role of the real-life businessman, Srikanth Bolla. He became an inspiration for despite being visually impaired and not having an influential family backing him, Srikanth made it on his own. The film also stars Jyothika, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar and Jameel Khan. It is scheduled to release in theatres on May 10. There is still no confirmation about which OTT platform will Srikanth release on after its theatrical release.
