Aamir Khan donates Rs. 25 lakhs to the families affected by the calamity in Himachal Pradesh

Readers may be aware of the recent challenges that the state of Himachal Pradesh had faced a few weeks ago. For the uninitiated, the state of Himachal Pradesh had been hit by a disaster. The resultant of this disaster was that there were an influx of shocking landslides which had caused a huge damage to mankind and also there were many buildings which had got affected.

Recently, actor Aamir Khan decided to help the people of Himachal Pradesh. As a part of the help rendered by the actor to the state and families of Himachal Pradesh, Aamir Khan extended his helping hand by donating Rs. 25 lakhs to the ‘Aapda Rahat Kosh-2023’. For the unversed, ‘Aapda Rahat Kosh-2023’ happens to be a charitable endeavour which had come together with the sole aim of helping those people whose families had got devastated because of the recent disaster that had hit the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Seeing the actor Aamir Khan’s heartfelt gesture, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu (Chief Minister- Himachal Pradesh) expressed his gratitude and thanked Aamir Khan for his timely help. In a statement to the media, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the said assistance would undoubtedly assist in the relief and rehabilitation efforts which were being aimed at helping the affected families to recover from the aftermath of the disaster. He added that the noble gesture shown by the actor (Aamir Khan) would surely make an extraordinary difference in the lives of those who had been affected because of the recent calamity.

As for Aamir Khan, it seems that the actor is now all set for his grand comeback, after taking a break for a few months. His production company had recently produced ‘Laapataa Ladies’, which had been directed by Kiran Rao. The said film received an extremely positive response fr9m everyone at the recently held Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
