The biggest of names in Indian cinema, regardless of industry, are coming forward to promote director SS Rajamouli's film RRR prior to its release. After a series of promotional events across the country and in Dubai, RRR team comprising the filmmaker, the lead actors Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt were at Delhi to spread the word about the film. Laal Singh Chaddha star Aamir Khan was the chief guest of the massive event and crowds turned up in huge numbers to witness the event. Aamir had an conversation with the team of RRR on the stage. Here's how it went about.

"I am as excited as all of you about RRR, be it the star cast, trailer, songs or every promo, I just can't wait for the film to release. On this occasion, I want to ask this question to SS Rajamouli, why do you make your audiences wait so long for a film? I've been asked a similar question for my films as well but I want to know the answer from you," Aamir asked a question to RRR filmmaker. The latter replied, "The greater the delay, the greater the love." Earlier, he also grooved to the steps of Naatu Naatu, learning the moves from Jr NTR, Ram Charan on the stage.

Aamir Khan, recently during his birthday press meet, was asked by a reporter about how a pan-Indian film gets made. When he asked SS Rajamouli to respond to that question as well, the filmmaker told, "I'm not telling this because Aamir is here. RRR may be releasing in five languages, Baahubali may have released in three-four languages, it was all because of the producers and the fantastic star cast. However, many years ago, I was inspired by this movie called Lagaan that created a sensation across the length and the breadth of the country. The success of the movie gave me the confidence that if I made a film centered around human emotions, audiences will always encourage it."

The ball was next thrown at Alia Bhatt, when Aamir asked the actress to share her experience of working with SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR. "It was a surreal moment for me, I was pinching myself about working with a filmmaker like him, who tells stories so sensitively, beautifully. He's a master storyteller. I was just absorbing every moment and learn as much as I could, from him. Jr NTR, Ram Charan are pranksters, almost obsessed with one another. They are pulling each other's legs constantly and I attracted no attention."

Alia further said, "On a serious note, I must say both Ram Charan and Jr NTR are so down to earth, collaborative, helpful. They dance like a dream and all these traits make them huge stars, that's why audiences love them." Taking over from her, Aamir Khan stated, "Whenever SS Rajamouli makes a film, it's truly a celebration of cinema. All of us are looking forward to his films. I want to watch it together with the team if possible."

SS Rajamouli said that he's not able to eat at his meals with peace prior to RRR's release, mentioning that it was a combination of both anxiety and fear. Aamir also congratulated the teams of The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi for the films' success at the box office.
