Aamir Khan and his decision to take a break from acting
Last year, after the box-office failure of Laal Singh Chadha, Aamir Khan decided to take a break from acting and instead focus on his filmmaking and production ventures.
With this, Aamir Khan announced his venture into film production with the upcoming project, Champions. Despite originally planning to take on an acting role in the movie, he chose to step back. Speaking at an event in Delhi, Aamir revealed that Champions was slated to follow his work on 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' but he opted for a hiatus from acting instead.
“When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in that and nothing else happens in my life. Which is why I decided to take a break. I want to be with my family. With my mom, with my kids. I feel like I have been working for 35 years and I feel I have been single-mindedly focused on my films and it is not fair for the people close to me,” said Aamir Khan at an event.
