Aamir Khan has spilled the beans on his movie with Rajkumar Hirani, PK. The film, the superstar shared, had a different plot previously. However, the second half of the film had to be changed, courtesy an Akshay Kumar movie. If you haven’t guessed, the movie is Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal’s OMG – Oh My God! Here’s everything you need to know…

During his interview with Variety India, Aamir Khan revealed that the original script of his movie with Rajkumar Hirani – PK – was different. Since the plot was very similar to Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal’s OMG, they had to go with a different storyline. “In case of 'PK,' which was a huge success, both Raju and I were not really fully happy with the film. Because originally, he had written a different script. And the second half was slightly different from what we had made. But there was another film that came out just before us called 'OMG – Oh My God!' And the themes were kind of similar,” Aamir shared, adding that the alien factor worked for PK, despite the theme highlighting blind faith in ‘spiritual beings’ was recurring in both the movies. “Before the release, Raju and I discussed how we were not totally happy with the film, but how this was the best we could have done. Luckily, the film worked, and it was a big success,” the superstar stated.

While PK was a movie that Aamir was not so confident about, the actor put his full faith in two movies, which became a cult classic over time but performed either poorly or average at the Box Office when they released. The two movies were Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Aamir-Salman Khan’s collaboration film, Andaz Apna Apna. For the latter, Aamir expressed, “People didn't get the humor. Maybe it was the timing. But today it's considered a cult classic. Almost everyone, every generation has seen it. Today, 18-year-olds have seen it. I'm shocked.”
