Aamir Khan, who is set to make his Bollywood comeback with Taare Zameen Par's spiritual sequel Sitaare Zameen Par, has spilled the tea on the character he plays in the upcoming movie. The actor has confirmed how his character Gulshan is a stark contrast of Nikumbh, who was very sensitive in Taare Zameen Par. Here's everything the actor, last seen in Salaam Venky, shared...
Aamir Khan has shared with China Fanclub that his Sitaare Zameen Par character Gulshan is anything bu Nikumbh from Taare Zameen Par. "He is very rude, politically incorrect and he insults everybody. He fights with his wife, mother," the actor said, adding that Gulshan even beats up his senior coach. Aamir then explains how Sitaare Zameen Par is about Gulshan's transformation into a good human being as the film progresses.
Aamir has constantly maintained that Sitaare Zameen Par is 10 steps ahead of Taare Zameen Par. The Ghajini actor has maintained that this Hindi remake of the Spanish film Champions is about the differently abled. Aamir had further explained that Sitaare Zameen Par, unlike Taare Zameen Par, is a comedy film. The RS Prasanna directorial brings back Darsheel Safary, and this time, it also marks Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh's comeback to Bollywood. Sitaare Zameen Par aims at Christmas 2025 release at the Box Office.
Aamir Khan had recently recalled how China played a huge role in his career. This happened back when 3 Idiots released. During a recent press conference, the superstar recalled how the Chinese viewers illegally downloaded 3 Idiots, watched it and showed it to their parents. He and the film's director Rajkumar Hirani then realized that they had tapped into a market that came as a surprise to both. Ever since, Aamir has released his movies in China and Japan, too.
