Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta got engaged to her longtime lover Nupur Shikhare in November 2022. Months after their engagement, there have been reports that the star kid is now all set to tie the knot with her fiance. The reports suggested that a royal palace in Udaipur has been booked as the wedding location and on January 3, 2024, it is expected that Ira and Nupur will get married. However, all these reports turn out to be false.

Ira Khan shared a picture of the news article from today, September 14, on her Instagram account, announcing that the couple will wed on October 3 of this year. Ira reacted on her Instagram account by saying, “No no…Not getting married on 3rd October! Later, you’ll know when because I’ll be so excited that it will be hard to not notice @nupur_popeye.”

For the uninformed, according to Bombay Times, a source was quoted sharing, “The couple has planned an elaborate wedding ceremony in Udaipur. It’s a three-day affair, and the festivities will include their friends and extended family, members. This one, too, will be an intimate affair minus the presence of any people from the film industry. The father of the bride (Aamir) is extremely excited and is closely involved with the planning.”
Nupur, a star fitness trainer and consultant proposed Ira during his match in September of the previous year. He got down on one knee and proposed to her while holding a ring. Later, Ira shared her engagement story on her social media account with pictures from her engagement celebration.
Ira Khan is the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutt, his first wife, from whom he divorced in 2002. Additionally, they also have a son by the name of Junaid.
