Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is the Hindi remake of Champions. On May 5, Aamir Khan Productions finally announced that the film will hit theaters on June 20, and they also shared the first poster, which received significant buzz on social media. Now, the makers have announced the trailer release date.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the trailer for Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par will be released on May 8, 2025. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 superhit Taare Zameen Par. The first poster features 10 newcomers along with Aamir, with the audience now excited to see more of the film. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film has been getting a lot of buzz ever since it was announced.

Aamir Khan Productions is all set to launch 10 debutant actors and they are Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
Meanwhile, Aamir noted that while Taare Zameen Par was a more emotional and tear-jerking film, Sitaare Zameen Par takes a more humorous and light-hearted approach.
Sitaare Zameen Par will follow a man's journey of growth and rediscovery as he connects with and supports children who perceive the world differently. Based on the 2018 Spanish film Champions, the story explores themes of compassion, vulnerability, and embracing individuality, ultimately highlighting the transformative power of human connection. The film also emphasizes the importance of embracing individuality and finding beauty in differences.
Meanwhile, the film is produced by Aamir Khan and he will also play a key role along with Genelia Deshmukh.
Apart from Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir is also producing Lahore 1947 starring Sunny Deol. He also recently expressed his ambition to adapt the epic Mahabharata into a film franchise.
